three months of marlow
The month of December saw you turn three months old in the run up to Christmas Day. We spent this month doing some wonderful Christmas activities with (and without) you - none of which you will remember but all of which me and your daddy will cherish the memory of forever. It was another month filled with plenty of fantastic ‘first times’. We imprinted your hands and feet onto some salt dough decorations, covered you in paint, decorated the first Jones’ family Christmas tree, took our first plane together, visited a different country (albeit just across the Irish Sea) and you met animals for the very first time. All in all I’d say we have had a very exciting month.
The beautiful memories I would like to remember for this month:
When you are nursing at the breast you often stop to smile at me. It's one of my favourite things.
How much you love to stand on your skinny little legs when we are holding you up. Ever since you were born you have been able to make yourself go stiff as a board, so me and your dad couldn't re-position you if we wanted to!
Just how much you stared at our twinkle lights on your very first Christmas tree as I dressed it.
You are getting more confident being on your own, and will sit in the rocker and chatter gobbledegook to yourself while I busy myself with tasks around the house.
You listen to us with wide eyes while we speak, and I can just imagine your little sponge brain soaking up everything you hear.
