lollipop baby camera

we have been using our lollipop baby camera for three years now without complaint, and with the gift of a second camera for our newborn i wanted to share why we love our baby monitor so much and some of my favourite features

some of the features making lollipop special include

the ability to play white noise, womb-like sounds, or music through the camera (which i can switch on or off remotely). i use this feature overnight to play white noise to help our babies sleep (if you have a newborn and havent played them ‘white noise’ yet whilst napping, i urge you to try and come back later to thank me for the longer nap). you can set a timer for it to run continuously through the monitor for up to 12 hours, or a custom time (as desired)

myself and ryan can both look in on the children via our app remotely with clarity that they are sleeping safe and sound. (when we first had marlow, ryan told me he would often look in to check on us, on his journey to work… which absolutely pulled on my heartstrings)

the ease of placement with the lollipop camera. the ‘tail’ of the camera is bendy therefore you can easily wind it around the edge of the crib or bend it into a circular base to stand upright, (or alternatively use the additional accessories included) to affix it to the wall or crib as a more permanent fixture. we have moved twice since purchasing our original camera and have therefore used it in a multitude of different ways as marlow has transitioned from room to room, and cot to bed

it looks dang good

really great customer service and support from the lollipop staff. speaking from experience they are super fast and polite when responding to enquiries

if you hear your babe crying, you can speak through the camera using the app on your phone so they can hear your voice (although we dont use this feature often, i imagine it might be handy to soothe some little angels back to sleep)

you can snapshot photos (we have built up a collection of sweet sleeping images over the years, some of which ryan snapped when checking in on us on his way to work)

and if you subscribe to the ‘lollipop care’ feature you can re-watch video from the previous 48 hours before it is deleted. as a breastfeeding mama i find this particularly handy to refresh my memory of how many times rua woke overnight, and calculate just how sleep deprived i am
