recycled notelets

i haven't bought notelets or cards in a long time as i now try and create my own using blank kraft or ivory envelopes and just a little imagination

You will need

blank card and envelope set (i found mine here)

photo corners (widely available online, but i prefer these ones which are also available in gold and other colours)

scrap magazine cut outs, postcards or illustrated cards which often come with independent store purchases (the ones i used came from ‘little cotton clothes’ - an independent UK based family business specialising in children's attire)… their ‘mandy sutcliffe’ illustrations were simply too sweet not to re-use

What to do

using your guillotine (or a steady hand and a pair of scissors) trim your illustrations to size (so they will fit the front of your card)

then simply pop a photo corner onto each edge and press gently in place on the front of the card

you could then add wording with letter stamps, a marker, cut out letters from a magazine or a dymo label maker
